MicroSave to collaborate with Microfinance Focus for knowledge sharing and dissemination

Microfinance Focus, August 26, 2010: MicroSave, one of the leading International consulting, capacity building and research organizations has agreed to join hands with Microfinance Focus, a knowledge and communication hub for the global microfinance sector.  Under this agreement the two organizations look forward to a strategic alliance for knowledge sharing and dissemination with an emphasis on engaging diverse and geographically dispersed practitioners, donors, academicians, investors, technical services providers, government and other stakeholders.

Microfinance Focus which reaches a wide base of readers through its news portal will collaborate with MicroSave to provide expert analysis on the current affairs and developments of the microfinance sector.

MicroSave promotes market-led financial services by publishing high quality research studies focused on clients and microfinance institutions.  With a combined experience of its core research and the action research programme, it has developed a series of practice-based and practitioner-focused training Toolkits, curricula and workshops. Through this partnership Microfinance Focus will further the cause of distribution of microfinance best practices and innovations to the wider microfinance community, enabling the creation of strong and competent institutions in the industry.
