The Banking With The Poor Network in collaboration with the Foundation for Development Cooperation and Microfinance Council of the Philippines, Inc. with funding support from Citi Foundation, cordially invites microfinance practitioners to attend the Microfinance Disaster Management Workshop in Manila on November 29-30, 2011. This workshop is designed to help MFIs develop strategies for disaster preparedness, and to respond more effectively in the wake of a natural disaster. This 2-day workshop is the fourth among the series of Microfinance and Disaster Management Workshop organized by the Banking With The Poor Network. It aims to enhance the knowledge of microfinance practitioners on the basic ideas behind disaster management by focusing on each of the following topics of interest:  MFI Preparedness, Client Preparedness, Rapid Response, Microfinance in Livelihood Restoration.
