Microfinance Focus January 19, 2011: Early this January, Pahal Institute for Community Empowerment & Micro Finance managed by Pahal NGO received a Financial Inclusion Award by the prestigious Skoch Foundation. The award was conferred to Pahal in a Financial Inclusion Day Function by honorable Dr C.Ragrajan Chairman of EAC to Prime Minister.

Pahal is a voluntary organization working in villages and slum areas of districts of Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh in the field of microfinance, livelihood support, rural and slum area sustainable development, environment protection, micro enterprise, capacity building of the marginalized community especially women, awareness programs, with co-operation and co-ordination.
