Vikash Kumar is the founder and managing director of Microfinance Focus (Global Edition), a leading niche media company in the microfinance space. Since the inception of MFF Global, Vikash has maintained high journalism standards and has always aspired for originality, inventiveness and excellence. Within a span of two years, he transformed MFF Global from a student initiative to one of the leading media players in the microfinance world.
He is a visiting faculty to several universities including the Autonomous University of Madrid. He has also conducted several consulting assignments in the BOP segment. He is the winner of the first Solution Exchange (A wing of UN India) “Microfinance Community Knowledge Promoter Award 2007 for Outstanding Community Support” and featured as one of the “rural rockstars” in India Today, a leading Indian magazine. He has participated in several national and international microfinance conferences.
Annie Brown | Editor-in-Chief | Microfinance Focus Europe
Annie Brown has worked with Microfinance Focus (Global Edition) since 2010. Her most recent position at MFF Global was global desk editor, which provided her the opportunity to create and manage web content regarding microfinance institutions operating in different regions of the world. Annie has worked with several non-profits on publications in the US and India, including The Women’s Institute for Freedom of the Press and Manushi Sangathan.
Annie is a graduate of The College of William and Mary with degrees in History and Women’s Studies. Her research focused on women in a globalized economy and received highest honors. In 2009 she obtained a diploma in Gender and Development Studies from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences located in Mumbai, India.
Anna Steinbrecher | Assistant Editor | Microfinance Focus Europe
Anna Steinbrecher has worked for Microfinance Focus Europe since July of 2013. She holds a Bachelor of the Arts degree in Political Science from DePaul University in Chicago and currently resides in Paris, France. She has relevant experience in finance, policy, law and politics.
