Microfinance Focus, November 21, 2011: Regional Rural Bank, Paschim Banga Gramin Bank has entered into a partnership with Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Company for distribution of their group life insurance products for loan borrowers and account holders of the bank.

Through this partnership, Bajaj Allianz will be able to reach out to about two lakh existing customers of Paschim Banga Gramin Bank. The bank has presence in Howrah, Hooghly, Burdwan and Birbhum.

Bajaj will offer life risk cover to the bank's borrowers to protect their family from the burden of repayment of the loan in the event of the borrower's death.
