Microfinance Focus, June 9, 2010: CGAP (Consultative Group to Assist the Poor) has released its latest software reviews with eight new reviews this year. CGAP’s Software Reviews aim to help microfinance institutions (MFIs) make informed technology decisions by facilitating access to information on commercially available information systems (IS) products.
The Software Reviews are conducted by independent evaluators based on information provided by vendors, a product demo, and user feedback. The reviews are designed to provide a quick overview of the product and vendor, analysis of various aspects of the product, and basic pricing information. The software listings and reviews are a product of CGAP’s Information Systems Program, a joint initiative of CGAP and the EU/ACP Microfinance Programme.
The eight new reviews include products like, Emortelle by MicroSoftware Designs, MFResolve by Gradatim, Microfina by MediaSoft, Mifos by Grameen Foundation, OMNIEnterprise by Infrasoft Technologies, Orbit by Neptune, Perfect by CAGECFI and SIM.net by Fundamicro.
