Pushing for client focused change in the microfinance market through violence is not a solution, only an approach based on the lowest common denominator. However, recognizing the need to open up real dialogue around the vulnerability of clients is an important lesson for the microfinance industry. Expressions of client frustration due to the trappings of easy money, the burden of heavy arrears interest and clauses in loan contracts that permit the MFI’s to file suit against past due borrowers in areas distant from where borrowers live (where there are MFI friendly courts) is valid feedback. The time has come for a healthy review of the intended and unintended consequences of commercial investment in MFI's; along with the integrity of policies, procedures and practices for loan disbursement and recovery.

MFIs model is yet to be standardized. These differ in capabilities, capcities and concepts beside the differences of their intentions particularly with regard to social and commercial mission.
it is unfortunate that neither we have any policy nor any regulation to optimize its capability. But it has got lot of potency and could deliver good to poor if the present herd mentality is foreshaken and an appropriate model is developed keepig in view the needs of the poor relevant to state, country and region.
