Microfinance Co. SEIL revenue up by 17%

Microfinance Focus, October 19, 2011: Revenue for S.E. Investments Ltd (SEIL), an NBFC focussing on microfinance, was up by 17% in the first half of FY12. The company has reported a profit of Rs. 35 crores, during the same period.

Along with microfinance, SEIL provides term loan and working capital support to traders and medium sized enterprises. It also works in the area of renewable energy.

Currently operating in Agra, Mathura, Firozabad, Aligarh, Hathras, Delhi, Jaipur and Ahmedabad, Jodhpur, SEIL is expanding its domestic footprint in state of Gujrat and Andhra Pradesh.

During the first half of FY12, the company was reaching more than 0.4 million customers with a total disbursement of Rs. 4813 million.
