Microfinance Focus February 15, 2011: MF Transparency will launch the ‘India Data Launch Conference’ in Mumbai on February 25, 2011. The conference will be the formal launch event for the newly published India market data, currently available on the MF Transparency website.

The event will include a presentation of data by MF Transparency, comments from various industry leaders and industry wide discussions.

MF Transparency will be organizing the event with its implementing partners ACCESS Development Services, outreach partner UNDP Microfinance Community of Practice, Solution Exchange along with support of its donors.

The publication of this data is a major step forward in the Indian microfinance industry’s ongoing efforts towards greater transparency and consumer protection. It is our hope that this data will serve as a new foundation of information on which the microfinance industry can build transparent pricing practices. This conference, combining education and analysis, will help in continuing to move this process forward,said MF Transparency.
