Microfinance Focus July 05, 2011: Church World Service Pakistan/Afghanistan is supporting Pakistan based, Farz Foundation, an Islamic Microfinance asset-based provider in developing its five years organizational strategic plan.
CWS has engaged Farz Foundation for five weeks with their experts for mentoring and building the capacity of Farz Foundation’s senior management. Farz Foundation will be able to develop not only its own strategic plan, but also a capacity building that will enable the organisation to write annual reports, proposals and business plans.
Farz Foundation is a social performance based poverty alleviation organization with an Islamic Microfinance model and business design as per the Shariah rules. It is based on the concept of "partnership with the poor and profit and loss sharing".
